This session has been specially crafted for businesses, organisations and individuals who want to embrace more video in their day-to-day social media marketing, but unsure where to start.

The training can covers:

  • Content strategy (why are you even taking and making photos and videos in the first place)

  • Exploring the features you already have and how to use them (properly) for photography and video

  • Shooting techniques (portrait and landscape)

  • Using additional equipment to improve your video, photography and audio

  • Shooting with story in mind

  • Creating assets for LinkedIn / reels / TikTok / YouTube shorts

  • Creating b-roll

  • Video editing

  • Adding voiceovers

  • The training can take place at your place of work or at my office.

Smartphone and video training at your workplace

For many organisations, mobile video training is the best way to learn. We will work with the phones and cameras they actually use, in the spaces they normally video and against the problems they regularly encounter.

I'm based in Penarth and provide on-site photography and video training across:

Cardiff • Penarth • Newport • Vale of Glamorgan • Rhondda Cynon Taf • Bridgend • Monmouthshire • South Wales • Bristol • Training elsewhere in the UK is available by arrangement.

Studio-based sessions can also be arranged where more specialist lighting or photography facilities are required.

He's very accommodating and caters the sessions to what you ask for, as well as ensuring the basics are understood and practiced. No question is a silly question when working with Alex, he is super patient and such an engaging teacher.

    Alex has also provided us with post-session video tutorials (Lightroom editing, importing etc) so that we have further guides to work from as we continue to practice and learn after the sessions!

    We asked Alex to help us further by generating an equipment list for us to purchase. Alex gave us an in-depth list and several options for equipment so we can work well in our own studio space and get the most out of it.
