How do product photography shoots work?

01 Let’s chat

I always start with a conversation about what you are requiring. This time is used to help shape how the shots will ‘look’. What details do we need to get, any special retouching reuirements etc.

02 Plan

Planning the shoot into stages allows us to work out all the required angles, shot list, location, mood boards, model management, editing requirement and everything in-between. Whether it is in the studio with models and or it is 20 items shot in my studio.

The process to a successful product photography photoshoot

03 Shoot

This is the day of the shoot where we bring all the elements together.

With a clear shot list and creative direction we set about to capture the final images.

04 Proofing

Images are proofed after the photoshoot - this allows for final choices to be made before advanced editing happens and final images provided.

Product photography process

05 Editing

All product images will require some level of editing. I provide a comprehensive editing service to provide advertising-ready imagery. Other specialists may also be used depending on your exact requirements. I also work with agencies and provide images for external editing.

06 Delivery

Once editing is complete - you will be sent a secure link to download your final images. Typically provided in jpeg or tif format at high resolution.
