John Jackson - A Personal Brand Photoshoot
This was a great personal brand photoshoot for John Jackson, who is without doubt one of Wales, if not UK’s most creative minds.
The photoshoots purpose was to support the launch of his then new website over at JacksonConcepts - where he helps businesses market themselves more creatively and effectively. We needed a suite of marketing imagery for key areas of the website in addition to a suite of additional photos to support his story on social media and services throughout his website.
As part of his re-brand, John’s strapline was ‘break on through’ and this was the starting point for developing the idea into a photoshoot - with John breaking through the paper. This concept was even followed through on to business cards.
The shoot took place in my Cardiff studio but also shot on location in Grangetown. We planned for half a day shoot which allowed enough time to get creative in the application but also allow John a number of styling changes to keep the shots different.
It was a great shoot with some much collateral produced, the gallery below is a small selection of what was achieved during the day’s photoshoot.
