Additional info Capturing high-quality photo content for a behind-the-scenes feature for Total TV Guide / TV Choice was a remarkable experience. The photoshoot took place at the BBC Media Village in Cardiff Bay, South Wales, where I documented a variety of behind-the-scenes moments and conducted an editorial photoshoot with Barney Walsh, Melanie Hill, and Kirsty Mitchell.

The scale and detail of the Casualty set are impressive; it’s a purpose-built environment that authentically replicates a hospital. The set includes intricately designed pubs, shops, and streets, culminating in an extensive props warehouse that houses all necessary elements.

Exploring the different departments within this space was a highlight, allowing me to observe the wardrobe, makeup, props, and vehicle garage in action. The editorial segment of the shoot was meticulously coordinated, as we had access to the actors only in brief time slots amidst their tightly scheduled filming. This necessitated our immediate readiness at the four designated locations within the hospital ward.

In true professional fashion, Barney, Kirsty, and Melanie executed their roles flawlessly, delivering exceptional results within moments of our setup. Each frame was a testament to their talent and dedication, making this photoshoot a truly successful collaboration.
