Master Off-Camera Flash on Location – New Photography Workshop in Penarth
If you've ever struggled with harsh sunlight or flat, dull skies when shooting portraits outdoors, this is for you. I’m running a brand new off-camera flash photography workshop right here in Penarth, designed to give you the confidence and skills to light your subjects beautifully - wherever you are, whatever the weather.
This hands-on, 4-hour session is all about learning by doing. We’ll cover practical flash techniques using 1, 2 and 3-light setups, explore a variety of modifiers, and work with a model in real outdoor settings. You’ll gain experience in making creative lighting decisions, whether you're enhancing natural light or completely reshaping it.
Perfect for anyone with a DSLR or mirrorless camera (and a hotshoe), this workshop keeps jargon to a minimum and the group size small - just 4 people - so you’ll get plenty of personal guidance and time to shoot.
📸 Skill level: Beginner, intermediate, advanced. Must know a few basic camera settings
