Stalking the dawn of 2023
An early morning ‘up and out’ and a wander down to Penarth Pier, Vale of Glamorgan (South Wales, UK) - I was lucky to get sunrise let alone getting to watch the Dawnstalkers (Penarth’s early morning sea swim club) enjoying the golden glow.

Three Cliffs bay & Pennard Castle - A (very) wet Swansea coastal Adventure
Mid-lockdown, November 2020 - we’d been indoors without really heading outside for any amount of time and the walls were starting to close in. With our minds set firmly on taking advantage at the earliest opportunity, we set our sights firmly on Pennard Castle, Three Cliffs Bay in the Gower, Swansea. A beautiful stretch of South Wales that is also an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Cardiff in lockdown photo series - Sunday 29 March 2020
It’s Sunday 29th March 2020 and the UK has been officially in lockdown for seven days, with permitted outings for essential groceries, exercise and work if you cannot work from home. Back from down under
Finally back to Cardiff, UK after an awesome adventure in Australia. I've got galleries and blogs planned for a more comprehensive overview, but thought I'd share a few shots from my 24mm (my last post was all about this lens, and asking if it is the best lens for travel). Anyhow, here's a sniff of some of the places and locations we got to.

Mannequins of Bruges
I've always been obsessed with mannequins, masks, realistic recreations of the human form plus a large smattering of (anti)consumerism. It could have been due to a clandestine viewing of Bladerunner at an early age, who knows.

Night time shooting test this summer
This summer, I set myself just one challenge: To try some night-time long exposure photography.
